Often, permits for small wind turbines are refused by the authorities because bat reports are missing or proof of corresponding shutdown times at night cannot be provided. The newly developed bat protection control is a development that is scientifically accompanied by Mr. Florian Gloza-Rausch, head of the field mouse center Noctalis in Bad Segeberg, in permanent cooperation. At this point, thank you very much for that!
Unfortunately, it is currently the case that the bat almost always has to serve when a construction project is to be stopped.
This situation is not satisfactory for both sides, so we are now going down this path together with Noctalis and have found a mutually acceptable solution with the bat protection control. The protection control system safely switches off and on the small wind turbine in bat flying weather (at night) via the grid inverter when the weather conditions change, even at night.
The box is suitable for almost all small wind turbines, regardless of whether it is a horizontal or vertical rotor.
The reduced yield due to the shutdown times is only 3-5%, as the bat only flies in appropriate weather conditions.
You can find a corresponding explanation in the documentary Background Information on Small Wind Turbines, prepared by the Research and Science Department at Fledermaus-Zentrum GmbH in Bad Segeberg.
The bat protection control system is significantly cheaper than a site-specific bat report!
Currently, the nature conservation authorities are being informed about the protection control, and most of them have already given positive feedback.

Joy in the wind with ANTARIS small wind turbines!
