We, BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH
In Nauroth in the Westerwald, where the wind plays a historical role (Westerwaldlied), BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH has its headquarters. Located only about an hour north of Frankfurt am Main, our company has been specializing in the development and manufacture of small wind turbines for over 29 years and is one of the leading manufacturers in Europe.
In January 2009, we changed from a sole proprietorship to a limited liability company in order to shape the structure and future of our company even better. Sustainability and quality are central values in our corporate culture, and we are constantly working on the further development of our products with these principles.
Our portfolio includes the ANTARIS series of small wind turbines with an output of 1.5 kW to 12 kW. These systems can be used in a variety of ways – in grid-parallel operation, as heating support or as off-grid systems with battery support. In addition, we offer accessories for small combined heat and power plants (CHP) up to 10 kW electrically as well as for small wind turbines that work according to the Savonius and Darrieus principles. Customers who want to generate electricity from hydropower will also find suitable accessories with us.
Our technical director, Rüdiger Braun, and his team are continuously working on creating forward-looking solutions for decentralized energy supply. With a clear focus on sustainability and quality, we offer tailor-made solutions that meet the requirements of private and commercial customers. Thanks to our many years of experience and the use of the latest technologies, we are able to effectively meet the challenges of the energy transition.
As an internationally active company, we are continuously setting new standards in the field of small wind power with our national and international sales partners. Our focus on research and development, production and sales is growing continuously. By 2025, we expect more than 60% of our revenue to come from Germany – a share that will continue to grow due to developments in the German energy market.
Our goal is to make an important contribution to sustainable power supply with our Antaris wind turbines and to actively support the vision of a climate-friendly future. We focus on transparency, quality and a close exchange with our customers in order to optimally meet their individual needs.
