When ignorance and stubbornness meet

In the municipality of Gudow, very strange things are currently happening in terms of contra wind power.
The construction of an ANTARIS 9.5 kW small wind turbine on a 24 m mast at a local industrial site in the municipality of Gudow, Schleswig-Holstein, is planned and already approved.
Currently, a small group of die-hards from the community has formed to prevent the construction of the small wind turbine here.
The poster, set up in the immediate vicinity of the company, shows what it is all about.
Despite several citizens’ meetings (we are talking about a small wind turbine here), at which the project was explained in detail to the citizens and interested parties, there is no understanding at all.
Of course, a species protection report was also made here and positively evaluated.
Birds have no problem with small wind turbines, this has now been proven in several studies.
Rhineland-Palatinate has also carried out a study on this, with the same result.
Based on the uniformly positive results, it is assumed that the birds recognize the rotational movement of the repeller and perceive it as an obstacle.
This is also related to the fact that the flight speed of the birds roughly corresponds to the leaf speed of the repeller.
This was confirmed years ago in a study in Baden-Württemberg.
