The Pelton turbine works here with a “Windy Boy 2500” grid inverter in 1-phase parallel to the grid.
The adjustable characteristic curve in the Windy Boy enables optimum energy yield from the turbine.
Via a separate control system including brake resistor, the 3-phase generator voltage is rectified and transmitted to the inverter.
The remarkable smoothing of the geno voltage is achieved via separately installed capacitors (2200μF).
Our generator of the CK3.5 series, with 2,100W in continuous operation, was installed here.
