In Schleswig-Holstein, in Bavaria, in Holland, Sweden, in Spain or further east such as in Poland or Russia – BRAUN is on the road nationally and internationally with its ANTARIS 6.0 kW.
The ANTARIS 6.0 kW, the three-bladed aircraft from Braun Windturbinen GmbH, attracted great interest at this year’s New Energy Husum 2012. The Naurother company presented its small wind turbine, which was specially developed for inland locations with weak to moderate wind conditions, at the stand of its sales partner Elektrotechnik Röhe GmbH & Co. KG.
Many visitors informed themselves in detail about technical data such as the generator with the gearless, maintenance-free permanent magnet rotor, the special ball bearing, the 3-phase three-phase current, etc., or about the repeller with its computer-aided aerodynamic profile, the noise reduction by winglets on the blade tips and all the other special details of the ANTARIS 6.0 kW.
These can also be viewed under https://www.braun-windturbinen.com/antaris6.html.
In addition to local interested parties, Braun was also able to make new contacts in Holland, Sweden, Poland, Spain and Russia at the international industry meeting place of the small wind power scene, maintain and further expand existing ones.
This is because BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH operates worldwide with its national and international sales partners, always in accordance with the company’s principle of constantly setting new standards with ANTARIS wind turbines.
In Denmark, for example, after successful certification in 2011, each of the ANTARIS 6.0 kW wind turbines with 5.10 m repeller and a hub height of 18 – 21 m produces approx. 800 kWh / month. The small wind turbine recorded peak electricity production on 27.11.2011 with 121kWh. In recent years, around 60 percent of the small wind turbines manufactured by BRAUN in-house have been sold abroad, only 40 percent on the domestic market. The reason for this is, among other things, a conspicuously lengthy German approval and certification practice.
Gradually, however, the German market is also gaining momentum: In 2011, BRAUN sold 50 percent of its systems in Germany, and the company expects a gradual increase in the next few years.
In Schleswig-Holstein, the first ANTARIS 6.0 kW at a hub height of 24 m will be installed in 2012 after a 1-year approval period by the local sales partner, Elektrotechnik Röhe – another successful step.
Most ANTARIS plants have so far gone mainly to Bavaria, as the approval process there is comparatively faster. For example, the 6 KW Antaris small wind turbine was recently installed in Kirchdorf/Moosham near Haag on 23.03.2012 and already on the weekend of 23 – 25.03.2012 the owner was able to “pick” the first kilowatts of wind power.
The ANTARIS small wind turbines for homes and yards are manufactured to the highest standard in order to achieve a technical service life of 20 years and more. BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH is constantly developing in order to continue to set new standards in the field of small wind turbines in the future. It is particularly important for the German small wind power scene to establish its market potential with technically optimised further developments.
