This is about the stubborn way in which the project of Standwerke Marburg to erect a small wind turbine is torpedoed.
The turbine has a total height of 24 m with a rotor diameter of 5.30 m (!) and is located 160 m from the excursion restaurant.
This can also be compared to Seehofer’s personal and famously haphazard fight against wind power.
Instead of showing what possibilities there are
for decentralized power generation and on-site use, an alliance of the eternal yesterdays outdoes itself by using flimsy arguments against the plant. Disturbance of guests, preservation of a recreation area, noise and shade emissions, protection of rare birds, etc.
Attention: the facility is 160m away from said restaurant.
Oh yes, and of course the electricity comes from the socket – it has always been like this… Aces and species extinction due to CO2 send their regards.
A tip to the Standwerke – maybe they should build a beer garden under the wind turbine for dissenters and see who gets more encouragement.
Below is a small excerpt from the meeting protocol. Here it becomes clear at what level the meeting took place:
Shadow
The expected shadow cast for the small wind turbine was compared with the existing shadow cast by the existing radio mast. The radio mast has a height of 40 m and is much thicker than the mast of the small wind turbine.
The mayor’s question as to whether the residents felt bothered by the shadow of the radio mast or whether they had ever noticed it was unanimously answered in the negative. The reference to the total height of the small wind turbine with a maximum height of 24 m was not noticed, rather the claim was made (M.K.) that the guests of the restaurant would be
so bothered by the shadow of the wind turbine that the intake of food could cause nausea.
The expected decline in sales of the restaurant is of course to be compensated for (in the case of plant construction) by Stadtwerke Marburg.
It is hard to believe at what subterranean level the Hessian small minds are moving, a great pity.
Sincerely,BRAUN
