Kehrsen (pm). CSN-Solutions, a company with a focus on IT service consulting and IT infrastructure consulting, has taken another important step on the way to the greatest possible self-sufficient energy supply of its ISO/IEC 27001-certified data center. For example, company owner Stephan Rakowski (photo right) announced today (Tuesday 18 April) that he was able to carry out the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for the laying of the foundation stone of the small wind turbine that is now to be erected on Easter Saturday in the presence of wind turbine proponents, friends and family, “despite some considerable” resistance from wind turbine opponents.
In addition to the existing resources of photovoltaics (613 modules on four areas) and three combined heat and power plants, the planned plant is also intended to help ensure that as little energy as possible has to be purchased from the public grid. So far, a total output of around 891,000 kilowatt hours of independently generated renewable energy has been implemented in this way. This resulted in a reduction in CO2 emissions of 568,641 kilograms.
