Heating mode

The energy generated by a small wind turbine can also be used for heating purposes, e.g. by means of a heat pump, and is therefore an alternative to grid-parallel or island operation.

Grid-parallel operation

In this mode, the electricity generated from the wind turbine enters the power grid directly via batteries without intermediate storage.

Island operation

Off-grid systems are off-grid, self-sufficient off-grid systems or off-grid systems that feed as little energy as possible into the power grid through a battery storage system.

Theory of wind power

Here you can find out general, basics and information about wind power.

Combined heat and power plant

Combined heat and power plants (CHP plants for short) are small power plants that generate electricity, e.g. by paddle wheels in running water.
