The smallest turbine (1.2 kW) as a demonstration object at the “Open Day” at the BBS in Montabaur. Here, students, parents and teachers were able to find out about possible applications in the field of small wind turbines. In the Power Point presentation, areas such as grid-parallel operation, island operation (off-grid systems, container solution) and use as a heating windmill were vividly presented. Of course, areas such as fluid mechanics and electronics were also discussed with the “expert audience”, in the spirit of the “wind workers of tomorrow”.
