The BVJ gt 16b class of the BBS Montabaur has produced beautiful candle holders and glass lanterns just in time for the pre-Christmas season.
The students were trained in the handling of sheet metal and the associated processing tools, including soft soldering.
The candlesticks, lanterns and other wooden products are later sold by the students at the local Christmas market and the proceeds are donated.
The BVJ classes are prepared for professional life in practical lessons at BBS MT, which increases the chance of an apprenticeship.
Pupils without a school-leaving certificate can also obtain this in this type of school.
