The cookie stores information that arises in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we will immediately become aware of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site.

Use of social media

– Youtube Videos

On our website, we use the Youtube embed function to display and play YouTube videos from the provider “Youtube” (belonging to Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

The extended data protection mode is used, which, according to the provider, only triggers the storage of user information when a YouTube video is played. If the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about the behavior of the users. YouTube is to use this information to improve the user interface. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your Google account when you start a YouTube video. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

We may replay recorded sessions and thus analyze the use of our website. Data entered in forms is not recorded and is not visible at any time.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, provided that you have given your consent via our banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please make the appropriate settings via our banner.

Google Analytics1

For the purpose of the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see section 5) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Browser type/version,
  • operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • Time of the server request,

are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of third parties. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case it may not be possible to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the link mentioned above. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit our website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is placed on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will need to set the opt-out cookie again.

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

In order to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords will place a cookie (see section 5) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can see that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also reject the setting of a cookie required for this purpose – for example, via the browser setting, which generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”. Google’s privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

Social Media Plugins

On the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, we use social plug-ins of social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+) on our website in order to make our company better known. The advertising purpose behind it is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by their respective providers. The integration of these plugins by us is carried out by means of the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

Facebook

On our website, social media plugins from Facebook are used to make their use more personal. For this we use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button. It is an offer from Facebook.

When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website by it.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on Facebook for everyone to see.

Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting my website.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy, in particular Facebook’s data policy, which you can view under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Google Customer Reviews

We work with Google LLC as part of the Google Customer Reviews program. The provider is Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The program gives us the opportunity to collect customer reviews from users of our website. After making a purchase on our website, you will be asked whether you would like to participate in an e-mail survey from Google. If you give your consent on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, we will transmit your email address to Google. You’ll then receive an email from Google Customer Reviews asking you to rate the buying experience on our site. The feedback you leave will then be combined with our other reviews and will appear in our Google Customer Reviews badge and Merchant Center dashboard, and will be used for Google Seller Ratings.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the data controller or to Google.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

We use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps to visually represent geographical information. By using this service, you will be shown our location and make it easier to get there.

As soon as you call up those subpages in which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as e.g. your IP address) to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This is done regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.

You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this. Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by deactivating the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website cannot be used. You can view Google’s terms of service at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html. For additional terms and conditions for Google Maps, see https://www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html.
