We are BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH
In Nauroth in the Westerwald – where, as is well known, the wind has always played a role (Westerwaldlied) – is the headquarters of BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH.
Geographically located about 1 hour north of Frankfurt am Main, the company has been successfully involved in the development and manufacture of small wind turbines in the power range of 2.5 kW – 12.0 kW for 29 years now and is now one of the leading European manufacturers.
In January 2009, the name was changed from a sole proprietorship to a limited liability company. In accordance with our corporate principles, we work on the successful further development of our company, in the spirit of sustainability.
Our range of manufacturers includes the series of ANTARIS small wind turbines in the power range of 2.5 kW – 12.0 kW, which are used worldwide in grid-parallel operation, as heating support and as battery chargers or stand-alone systems. Furthermore, we supply accessories for small CHP plants up to 10.0 kW electric, as well as for small wind turbines according to the Savonius and Darrieus principle. Customers who want to generate electricity from hydropower will find the right accessories with us.
Our own permanent magnet generator production enables us to fulfil every individual customer request. Our product range is supplemented by: Repair / rewinding of all types of wind generators up to 20 kW.
As a globally active company, we always operate together with our national and international sales partners under the maxim of continuously setting new standards in the field of small wind turbines with ANTARIS wind turbines .
