Integrated control functions for a wind turbine
FIMER inverters are available in the power range from 3.3-10.0 kW .
With the characteristic curve controller , which is installed in our control cabinet, the characteristic curve control is carried out via rpm or V DC guided.
Thanks to the in-house generator production at BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH, product development was carried out at the highest level and thus sets standards in the industry! The partnership and constructive cooperation between FIMER in Italy and BRAUN Windturbinen GmbH is remarkable.
In addition to the control functions for a KWEA, the control cabinet has various protective functions that support the safe operation of your KWEA.
We offer the FIMER inverters as 1-phase (UNO) up to 6.0 kW; 3-phase (trio) from 5.8 – 7.5 kW; PVS 10 kW.
Other possible applications include small hydropower plants and mini CHP plants, both of which can be found in our product portfolio (https://www.braun-windturbinen.com/knowhow/blockheizkraftwerk/).
Energy suppliers will be pleased with the FIMER series , as they have a complete 3-phase grid coupling and integrated automatic disconnection point according to VDE-AR-N 4105-18. As standard, the 3-phase trios offer system services, such as reactive power control , which are otherwise only known from the large wind sector.
Our control system can take over the complete control of the *ANTARIS* small wind turbine and remains very user-friendly. Apart from the brake resistor, no other external devices are required. It ensures clean start-up of the wind turbine and also regulates all other operating states in the best possible way. The intelligent characteristic curve control leads to optimum wind utilisation. The control system monitors the generator, wind turbine and transfers the wind turbine to a safe state in the event of a fault. Monitoring and protection functions include generator speed monitoring and generator temperature monitoring as standard.
The controller has a compact housing design. The connection area is generously designed and even offers space for a short DIN rail on which devices can be accommodated for options.
This significantly reduces technical effort and costs. If the FIMER cannot be adapted with the intended parameters, the software can be adapted quickly and flexibly, as it is created by ourselves.
An energy output for the 2nd brake resistor is always available for safety reasons.
The control cabinet contains a switch for resetting the KWEA, as required by EN 61400-2 . The FIMER PVS 10 kW is installed in the *ANTARIS* small wind turbine 12 kW . At wind-friendly locations, the repeller is reduced to D5.80m.
