Sometimes all it takes is a little squeak to remind us of what really matters.
After an incredible 30 years, our Antaris 3.5 kW reported with a quiet squeak at the azimuth bearing. So it was time to take out the lift, take a closer look at the system – and be curious about what awaits us after three decades.
The result? Amazing.
Only the yaw bearing wanted some fresh grease via the two existing grease nipples.
The repeller blades were given a hard wax polish and the edge protection tape on the front edges was renewed.
That’s it. After 30 years!
The first Antaris originally ran as a 24V DC battery charger. Since about 2003 and until today, it has been working with a Windy Boy LV and converts the energy from 24V DC to 230V AC.
30 years of wind.
30 years outside.
30 years of reliable energy generation.
And now the first real service.
For us, this is more than just a technical success story. It is proof that quality, well-thought-out technology and durability make a difference.
